Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of developers to build a large-scale tier-1 rendering platform for Amazon Pay, supporting all payment page dependencies.
- Engage in all project life-cycle phases, including requirements review, service design, code development, and seamless implementation.
- Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other teams to define, design, prototype, and build user experiences.
- Contribute to the architectural design and development across multiple layers of the tech stack, including design systems, UX components, reusable widgets, and web server solutions.
- Maintain operational rigor for our rapidly growing tech stack.
- Assist in hiring and developing technical talent within the team.
Skill Set:
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Windows system administration.
- Knowledge of distributed computing environments.
- Exposure to AWS and virtualization technologies (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong customer service focus.
- A self-starter attitude with a passion for learning new technologies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
