About the Role:
Firstsource is hiring Associate Software Engineers to contribute to the development of software systems using cloud and enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with hands-on knowledge in software development across front-end, back-end, and database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and build software systems across front-end, back-end, and database layers
- Apply best practices in coding, unit testing, deployment, and documentation
- Communicate status and progress with team leads
- Work effectively in an agile-at-scale environment
- Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one of: Java, .Net, Python, NodeJS
- Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Front-end frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, or ASP.Net
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (Keras, Scikit-learn, Python) is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Advantage:
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data science, or machine learning
- Experience with database management tools like Hibernate, Liquibase
