Job Description
The Red Hat Sales Cloud team is looking for an Associate Application Engineer to support the growth of the Salesforce Lightning platform. This role involves developing customized Salesforce solutions and learning enterprise application development in a collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with some internship experience who are interested in application development and Salesforce technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce CPQ solutions.
- Learn and apply declarative and programmatic Salesforce features such as Apex, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components.
- Assist in integrating Salesforce with other systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Participate in source control, unit testing, and best practices for enterprise application development.
- Help maintain technical documentation and configuration records.
Candidate Requirements
- Up to 2 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, or Lightning Web Components is a plus.
- Understanding of Salesforce CPQ, configuration, and pricing models is desirable.
- Exposure to integration tools and APIs (REST, SOAP) is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn in a team-oriented, Agile environment.
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or Platform Developer I are an added advantage.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, or modern web technologies is helpful.
