Job Description: Engineer – Easy Mesh
As an Engineer in the EasyMesh Group at Qualcomm, you will contribute to the development and integration of advanced Wi-Fi chipset features. You will work on EzMesh functionalities in QCOM WiFi chipsets in collaboration with driver-level components on host processors. Your contributions will support the commercial deployment of cutting-edge wireless technologies with major global OEMs and ODMs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and test EasyMesh features aligned with industry standards.
- Contribute to Wi-Fi performance optimization in embedded environments.
- Support commercialization and integration of solutions across global device manufacturers.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in high-paced development cycles.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, including:
- 1–2 years of hands-on programming experience in C.
- Experience with WLAN standards and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of firmware development on low-memory footprint processors.
- Experience with Ethernet/Wireless LAN driver development is an advantage.
- Familiarity with EasyMesh or Self-Organizing Networks (SON) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
