About the Internship Role
Paytm is hiring passionate and self-motivated Android Developer Interns to join its mobile development team in Bangalore. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience working on real-time mobile applications in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of Android applications.
- Collaborate with the mobile team to design and debug applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Test, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging mobile development trends.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Java/Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, XML layouts, and RESTful APIs.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in mobile development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Firebase, SQLite, or third-party libraries.
- Experience working on personal or academic projects, preferably hosted on GitHub or published on the Play Store.
