Role Overview:
This role is ideal for professionals with EDDL/GUI/UI development experience who are passionate about designing and implementing high-quality user interfaces. You will be part of a global engineering team working on advanced Pressure and Temperature field instruments that deliver accurate and reliable measurements across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement User Interfaces meeting functional safety requirements.
- Execute software development activities including peer reviews, version control, and testing.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests for UI verification.
- Debug software and hardware/software integration issues.
- Suggest and implement improvements to UI performance.
- Conduct embedded testing and use tools such as scopes, meters, power sources, logic analyzers, and sniffing tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines or M.Sc. Electronics with programming focus.
- Strong programming skills in EDDL/C/C++.
- 1 – 2 years of development experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., HART, Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, USB, BLE).
- Experience with version control tools (GIT, SVN).
- Understanding of microcontroller architectures (8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit).
- Familiarity with serial communication protocols like SPI, I2C, CAN.
- Experience in writing test cases and performing integration testing.
