Role and Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Professional (z/OS Support Team), you will:
- Support components of the z/OS operating system in mainframe.
- Design and execute productivity aids for infrastructure.
- Apply basic engineering and programming skills in day-to-day tasks.
- Gain exposure to IBM’s enterprise-level customer expectations and mainframe technology.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Passion for Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Strong foundation in software design, testing, and computer architecture.
- Knowledge of programming languages: C, C++, Java, Assembly.
- Debugging and scripting skills: Python, JavaScript, Perl, Bash.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux kernel development.
- Understanding of LAN drivers and FPGA.
- Experience in embedded systems or web/mobile application development.
- Hands-on knowledge of tools like Git/GitHub, IntelliJ.
