The Windows & Devices (W+D) team is delivering iconic products that people use daily. Within this, the Windows Silicon & System Integration (WSSI) team is hiring Software Engineers to work on cutting-edge silicon, AI, and performance systems.
As a Software Engineer, you will validate, benchmark, and integrate breakthrough technologies that power Windows ecosystem and next-gen Copilot+ PCs.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain software components that enable AI innovation on Windows devices.
- Work with cross-functional teams (silicon, AI, system software).
- Contribute to performance, reliability, and power efficiency improvements.
- Participate in planning, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Debug complex system-level issues and provide solutions.
- Stay updated with AI and system software trends.
- Deliver customer-focused solutions aligned with Microsoft’s quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong coding skills in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
