Wipro Job Description – Manual Testing Trainee
The Trainee Engineer will be responsible for configuring and testing the Wipro Proprietary Total Benefit Administration System to meet client needs. Work includes using proprietary systems and tools to set up tables/parameters and performing manual testing as per project requirements.
Designation: Trainee
Service Agreement: 12 Months
Shift Timings: 5.30 PM to 3.00 AM (9.5 hours)
Interview Mode: Face to Face (in Chennai Office)
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Understanding of SAS & Mainframe principles.
- Hands-on knowledge of writing SQL queries (simple & intermediate).
- Basic concepts of automation testing (exposure desirable).
- Understanding of system testing and QA methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems.
- Knowledge of relational databases (tables, keys, DB2 queries).
Communication & Soft Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain things in simple and clear manner.
- Should be a team player and highly motivated.
- Takes ownership of assigned work.
- Strong understanding of organizational goals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / MCA (2025 Passouts only).
- Must be willing to sign 12 months service agreement.
- Open to working in night shifts.
