Job Role: Data Science Intern
Location: Pune, India
Experience: Freshers / Early Career
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or MCA/MCS (Pursuing or Completed)
Batch: Recent graduates and currently pursuing students

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on challenging engineering problems to operationalize Data Science solutions.
• Design and implement advanced Machine Learning models and algorithms.
• Build and maintain core ML infrastructure including distributed systems, model hosting, and inference pipelines.
• Support customer Data Science projects on the Aera platform.
• Collaborate with senior members of the ML Engineering and Data Science teams while receiving guidance and training.

Required Skills:

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Data Science.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, etc.), and data analysis.
• Familiarity with APIs, Docker, and cloud fundamentals.
• At least one project hosted on GitHub, Heroku, or a cloud platform.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of backend systems and databases (SQL, Postgres, NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Completion of online courses (Coursera, Udacity, fast.ai, etc.) related to Data Science, ML Engineering, or MLOps.
