About the Role
American Express is hiring for the position of Analyst – Data Science. The selected candidate will be part of the Commercial Data Science & Model Integration team, contributing to model development and integration efforts to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support data science initiatives across Commercial Credit & Collections teams
- Develop and enhance predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Integrate internal and external data sources into modeling frameworks
- Conduct research to identify new modeling strategies and variables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Management
- 0–2 years of experience in analytics, data science, or machine learning
- Strong skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and related tools
- Solid understanding of statistical and ML modeling techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
