About the Role
As part of the GBS Technology team, you will contribute to testing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions. The role focuses on ensuring that applications meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. You will work on designing test strategies, building automated and manual test suites, and ensuring the quality of application releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end test strategies
- Work effectively in Agile environments and collaborate across teams
- Understand business functionalities for functional and non-functional testing
- Build test scripts and perform unit, integration, and regression testing
- Document test results and communicate progress
- Identify issues, escalate risks, and act as a quality gatekeeper for releases
Required Skills
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Ability to adapt to testing and automation roles
- Knowledge of data structures and basic RDBMS
- Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
- Commitment to high-quality delivery
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Test Engineering, DevOps, Release Automation
- Familiarity with UNIX programming or shell scripting
