About the Role

Cognizant is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of Graphic Designer. The role involves creating engaging visual content and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions across various media formats.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduates from the 2024 and 2025 batches only
  • A four-year degree in any of the following disciplines:
    • Bachelor/Master of Fine Arts (BFA/MFA)
    • Bachelor/Master of Design (B.Des/M.Des)
    • Bachelor/Master of Visual Arts (BVA/MVA)
    • Viscom (4 years), Mass Communication (4 years)
    • MA/MSc with specialization in Computer Graphics, Multimedia, Animation
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in X, XII, Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees
  • No current backlogs at the time of joining
  • Must be an Indian national or OCI residing in India

Key Responsibilities

  • Design icons, infographics, illustrations, and other visual assets
  • Develop motion graphics and support content visualization
  • Apply principles of typography, layout, and color theory
  • Adapt designs for various platforms and formats
  • Collaborate with internal teams for effective design communication
  • Stay updated with current trends and tools in digital design

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
  • Understanding of design fundamentals and digital media
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools is an advantage
  • Additional skills in 3D design, animation, or video/audio editing are a plus

  • All academic mark sheets (X, XII, Diploma, UG, PG)
  • PAN card (mandatory)
  • Government-issued ID for nationality verification (e.g., Passport or Voter ID)
  • Portfolio

  • Ensure the name and date of birth on your documents exactly match your 10th marksheet and PAN card
  • Registration must be done using a personal email address only
  • All communication will be made via the registered email ID on Superset
