Cognizant is conducting a walk-in drive for the News Analyst role. This role involves supporting algorithm training and ensuring high-quality data by monitoring and validating real-time content.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse real-time information from multiple sources
- Verify news alerts and captions for accuracy and completeness
- Cross-check information with social media and other public datasets
- Write, refine, and edit captions for social media content
- Apply business rules for data validation
- Conduct quality checks to enhance dataset accuracy
- Stay updated on workflow-related policies and processes
- Adapt to fast-changing environments and priorities
Required Skills
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political Science, Social Sciences, or any related field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Interest in news, digital media, and real-time content
- Attention to detail and a result-oriented approach
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage
