About the Role
As a Software Engineer 1, you will work with a dynamic team responsible for developing advanced software solutions, enhancing applications, and contributing to next-generation platforms and diagnostic tools. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and integrate code for new or existing software systems.
- Work closely with leads and product owners to understand business requirements.
- Perform data analysis, ETL, and data preparation tasks with limited supervision.
- Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines in collaboration with analysts and data scientists.
- Troubleshoot software performance and reliability issues.
- Participate in Agile-based software development and testing cycles.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Essential Requirements
- Basic understanding of ETL tools such as Airflow, Informatica, etc.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python, C#, or C++.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Windows OS-based software development.
- Understanding of Windows Internals, Security, WMI/ACPI, MFC, WCF, and WPF.
- Awareness of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, ADF, Synapse).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Desirable Skills
- Hands-on experience in data manipulation and automation with Python.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management and telemetry systems.
- Understanding of PC architecture and client-server hybrid cloud support.
