About the Opportunity
Deloitte India is inviting applications for the position of Intern – Data Science within our Digital Excellence Centre in Bengaluru. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside industry experts and develop AI-driven products that create real-world business impact.
As a Machine Learning Engineer Intern, you’ll be involved in building intelligent systems, applying machine learning techniques, and contributing to innovative AI projects—including areas involving Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify impactful data applications for solving real-world business challenges.
- Mine, analyze, and interpret medium to large datasets to extract actionable insights.
- Build and improve robust machine learning and statistical models.
- Support A/B testing frameworks and implementation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deploy, evaluate, and refine data science solutions.
- Improve data quality by validating and cross-checking data sources.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, NLP, and data science fundamentals.
- Experience with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model development.
- Understanding of deep learning architectures and Generative AI concepts.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated initiative, independence, and collaboration skills in remote or hybrid settings.
