Job Description: As a PostgreSQL Developer at DXC Technology, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing database code, contributing to the enhancement of our cloud platform, and collaborating closely with product managers and development teams. You will utilize your expertise in SQL scripting, data manipulation, and cloud computing to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our database infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient APIs and database code to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers to understand project needs and ensure database solutions align with company objectives.
- Work closely with front-end developers to design and implement dynamic APIs.
- Maintain data integrity and quality through regular checks and coordination with DBAs.
- Integrate and maintain database code across various procedures, scripts, queries, and views.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as UNIX and PSQL.
- Strong SQL scripting skills in PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
- Deep understanding of data management principles, including permissions, security, and monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
