Role Overview:
As a Cyber Triage and Forensic Junior Analyst, you will be part of a critical team responsible for identifying, investigating, and responding to cyber threats. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early professionals to join a high-performing team and develop core skills in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Real-time monitoring and correlation of security alerts and events
- Analyze network and host-based security events
- Assist in incident response and investigation
- Maintain and develop incident detection and response procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for threat resolution
- Support documentation, reporting, and escalation processes
- Identify areas of improvement and contribute to process optimization
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of Information Security principles, encryption standards, TCP/IP, Linux, and Windows
- Familiarity with IDS/IPS rules, log analysis, and malware detection
- Working knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
Eligibility Criteria:
- UG/PG degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field (BCA, BSc IT/CS, MCA, B.Tech, M.Tech)
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in SOC, cybersecurity analysis, or threat detection
- Optional: Cybersecurity certifications and scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
