About the Opportunity
HCL Technologies is inviting motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Telecom Provisioning and Activation Team. The selected candidates will be involved in configuring and activating telecom services for enterprise and residential clients. Key Responsibilities
- Provision various telecom services such as data, VPN, leased lines, and voice connections.
- Validate service activations using standard scripts and configuration templates.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery.
- Manage order queues, track escalations, and resolve provisioning issues.
- Maintain documentation for all provisioning activities.
- Work on network-related configurations including circuits and customer premises equipment.
- Participate in SLA adherence and rotational shifts as scheduled.
What You’ll Learn
- Core concepts of telecom architecture (Layer 1, 2, 3)
- Configuration of network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei)
- Exposure to IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols
- Real-time coordination across departments
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and service delivery tools
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (IP, switching, routing)
- Basic understanding of provisioning systems
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Comfortable working in shifts (rotational)
Preferred (not mandatory):
- Cisco CCNA (Beginner Level)
- NOC or Telecom Networking Fundamentals Certification
