Job Description:
As an Application Developer – Cloud FullStack at IBM Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping IBM’s future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems within an agile environment. Your responsibilities include:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in both Backend and Frontend technologies.
- Proficient in Java, Spring Cloud, SQL, and AWS.
- Sound knowledge of OOP and Database concepts.
- Familiarity with Java 8, JEE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular JS, Node JS, CSS3, HTML5, and any RDBMS database.
- Understanding and application of Design Patterns.
- Skills and Traits:
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to learn and problem-solve independently.
- Effective collaboration within a worldwide, agile development team.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and iterate.
- Growth-oriented mindset, eager to embrace new technologies and processes.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions using multiple technologies to address functional needs.
- Convert design into functional and technical specifications.
- Provide business application functional support services, ensuring performance, availability, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
- Adherence to project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA, and other relevant processes and standards.
- Plan and manage medium to large-scale, complex, integrated application or platform projects.
- Define coding best practices within the team and conduct design reviews.
