About IBM Research Internship
IBM Research – India is inviting applications for its Summer Internship Program 2025. This is part of their University Relations Program, where bright students from top universities get a chance to work with IBM experts.
During the internship, students will:
- Work on live projects happening inside IBM Research Labs
- Solve practical industry problems with guidance from mentors
- Learn about AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Quantum Computing
- Get exposure to world-class tools, technologies and practices
Skills and Requirements
Required Education:
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech)
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong coding skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Good knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms
- Basics of Linear Algebra, Probability, and Statistics
- Hands-on with VS Code, Jupyter Notebooks, Git
- Fundamentals of AI/ML – supervised & unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering
- Experience with TensorFlow / PyTorch
- Exposure to Deep Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Familiar with Generative AI frameworks like LangChain, Crew.ai
- Knowledge of unstructured data processing
- Worked on platforms like Watsonx.ai or similar
Preferred Skills:
- Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Deep learning research exposure
- Handling large datasets
