Role Overview:
IBM’s Data & AI team at India Software Labs is looking for talented software developers. Our product portfolio includes cutting-edge solutions like WatsonX, Cloud Pak for Data/Integration, DB2, SPSS Analytics, and more. You will be working with the latest tools and approaches, driving key IBM projects that impact industries globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain secure database features for cloud-based products.
- Evaluate new technologies and enhance service capabilities.
- Document and share your experiences, mentoring team members.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C, C++, Go, Scala.
- Strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
- Exposure to best practices in design, development, and software testing.
- Knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., Db2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Understanding of Virtualization and Containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes frameworks.
- Experience with Cloud Services (IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems.
Preferred Expertise:
- Experience with Shell scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby).
