Role Overview
We are looking for Application Developers to join our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers). In this role, you will contribute your technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions for public and private sector clients globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to design and develop customized technology solutions.
- Work with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs to build robust applications.
- Implement microservices architecture using tools like Hibernate/JPA, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Manage databases, integration services, and performance optimization.
- Apply best practices in Test-Driven Development and CI/CD.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Java EE, and Microservices.
- Experience with ORM tools such as Hibernate or JPA.
- Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem (HBase, Hive, MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Sqoop) and Spark.
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and messaging platforms (Kafka, IBM MQ).
- Understanding of microservice logging, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with build automation tools like Maven or Ant.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in concurrent design and multi-threading.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
