About the Internship Role

Paytm is hiring passionate and self-motivated Android Developer Interns to join its mobile development team in Bangalore. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience working on real-time mobile applications in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Android applications.
• Collaborate with the mobile team to design and debug applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with emerging mobile development trends.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Java/Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Familiarity with Android Studio, XML layouts, and RESTful APIs.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in mobile development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Firebase, SQLite, or third-party libraries.
• Experience working on personal or academic projects, preferably hosted on GitHub or published on the Play Store.
