Job Description: Associate Engineer – Software
You will be responsible for designing and developing real-time embedded software and applications for Qualcomm’s chipsets and platforms. Fresh graduates hired under this role will work in one or more of the following areas:
Key Areas of Work:
- Real-time embedded software and driver development
- Android, Linux, or Windows-based mobile software development
- Multimedia frameworks (audio, video, imaging)
- Wireless connectivity – LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth
- Platform-level software: Linux Kernel, Device Drivers, BSP
- IoT applications including Smart Devices, VR, AR
- Communication protocols – TCP/IP, SIP, RTP
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and object-oriented design
- Good understanding of operating systems, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for innovation and high-quality software development
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, or equivalent engineering field from a recognized university.
