Role & Responsibilities
As a Graduate Trainee Engineer – Technical Writer, you will:
- Create and integrate printed or electronic end-user documentation, technical videos, and product content.
- Follow style guides like MMOS and the Chicago Manual of Style.
- Work with XML editors and authoring/graphics tools.
- Manage documentation using single-sourcing-based CMS platforms.
- Collaborate across teams and locations for requirement gathering and timely delivery.
- Participate in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) for documentation planning.
- Standardize content across platforms and media.
- Ensure quality, process adherence, and result-oriented content delivery.
Required Skills
- Flair for technical writing with certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of video documentation, technical tools, and content systems.
- Proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with documentation methodologies like Agile.
- Ability to understand user needs and write audience-centric content.
