About the Role:
S&P Global Mobility is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated graduate to join our team as an Apprentice – Data Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with the Product Release Specialist (PRS) team, part of our Global Data Operations (GDO) team. The PRS team acts as a bridge between various internal teams, ensuring that data impacts are thoroughly evaluated, understood, and communicated to maintain business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize visualization and reporting technologies, scripting, and programming languages to create deliverables for internal and external clients.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, including Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work on automating existing processes.
- Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs.
- Anticipate and resolve product or deliverable release problems, escalating issues when necessary.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured use cases.
- Thoroughly document and record findings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fresh graduates or postgraduates from B.Tech/M.Tech (preferably in Computer Science Engineering) or BCA/MCA degrees.
- Strong knowledge of Data Management, analytics, business intelligence, consulting, and strategy building.
- Proficiency in data visualization software, especially Tableau.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, UNIX, and SQL/PLSQL, along with a solid understanding of relational databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a passion for learning.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
