About the Role – Apprentice, Software Development
This is an early-career opportunity for recent or final-year graduates to start their journey in software development and engineering with one of the world’s leading financial information firms.
You’ll work with a team of industry experts in a learning-focused environment and gain hands-on experience with real-world problems in data engineering, cloud, and software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn, design, and implement scalable technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Participate in agile practices and team meetings.
- Collaborate closely with peers, mentors, and product managers.
- Gain exposure to cloud-native technologies.
- Solve complex engineering problems.
- Adhere to best practices for performance, usability, and security.
- Provide regular progress updates to your manager and team.
Who Can Apply
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in STEM, Computer Science, Information Technology
- Passing Year: 2023 or 2024
- Final-year students can also apply
Experience:
- 0–1 years (Freshers welcome)
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Basic knowledge of programming (Python, Java, or C#)
- Understanding of OOP, databases, data structures, and algorithms
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with working in 24×5 rotational shifts including night shifts
- Willingness to learn and collaborate
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Exposure to SQL, PL/SQL, RDBMS
- Familiarity with Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Basic knowledge of AI/ML & ChatGPT tools
