Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python
• Proficient in ServiceNow – IT Service Management
• Expertise in automation tools and systems
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles
• Familiarity with Mainframe Testing
• Experience with writing and executing SQL queries (simple and complex)
• Strong debugging and data analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Description:

As a Software Test Engineer at Wipro, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and solutions deployed to clients. You will work closely with the development team to create and execute test plans, automate testing processes, and report on testing progress.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute test cases for product and platform solutions
• Design test plans based on business and testable requirements
• Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach for efficient test generation
• Collaborate with the development team to identify test cases and ensure version control
• Automate testing processes using tools such as VB macros and GUI automation
• Design and execute automation frameworks and reporting
• Detect and report bugs, ensuring clear documentation of issues
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, communicating with stakeholders as needed
• Generate and deliver test status reports to stakeholders after each cycle
• Ensure compliance with Wipro’s SLAs and quality norms for testing and defect tracking
• Timely response to customer requests, ensuring no complaints internally or externally

Stakeholder Interaction:

• Regular reporting to Lead Test Engineer and Project Manager
• Work closely with stakeholders to provide solutions and support testing needs
