Role Overview
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee – Mechanical, you will be part of Xylem’s product engineering function, supporting product performance activities, documentation processes, and design improvements using industry-standard tools and practices. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with global cross-functional teams and develop essential mechanical engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product performance analysis and ECN (Engineering Change Notice) processes
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D CAD models using Creo
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global operations
- Understand and apply engineering documentation and lifecycle processes
- Adhere to design protocols and technical documentation standards
Required Competencies
- Strong grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with Creo or similar CAD tools
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and documentation
- Good analytical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work professionally in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic projects or internships related to product design or development
- Prior exposure to engineering tools or product lifecycle systems
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability and innovation within mechanical engineering
