Software Engineer, Early Career, Campus (English, Portuguese)
Location: Brazil, Remote eligible This job is eligible to be performed remotely. Candidates will be able to share location preferences later in the hiring process.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. Experience working with Data Structures or Algorithms (e.g., data structures/algorithms class, coursework/projects, research, internships, or other experience in/outside of school or work (including open source hobby coding). Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.
Preferred qualifications: Experience working in one or more of the following: web or mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development Availability to start during this year. Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed. Examples of coding in one of the following programming languages including but not limited to: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Job Description: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. Manage sole project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Research, conceive, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google’s product offering. Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.
