ETL Developer: Engineering Metrics & Insights

Job Responsibilities

• You will connect the dots and interact with people in various roles and functions.
• You will work to effectively develop data products which serves downstream teams to make measurable metrics and provide meaningful recommendations.
• Build high quality and sustainable data pipelines and ETL processes to extract data from a variety of APIs and relational databases.
• Efficiently draft complex SQL queries and data models to aggregate and transform data for reporting and analytics teams.
• Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models.
• Help designing a data lake using the latest technologies and ideologies.
• Help deprecate legacy code and replace it with new architecture.
• Improve our data quality and scalability of our data-reliant systems.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to create value from data.

What were looking for:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a ETL Developer or similar role.
• Advanced SQL Knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
• Exposure to one or more ETL tools like Talend/ informatica/SSIS.
• Technical knowledge and experience regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Proficiency in building data connectors to integrate/ingest the data flow from various traditional data platforms like RDBMS Netezza, Teradata; File systems; ERP systems and different third-party APIs.
• Should have adequate experience in building necessary access, audit, and quality controls to assess completeness/accuracy/integrity of the transformed data.
• Should be a team player, a value adder and proactively should pitch-in with inputs throughout development lifecycle.

Good to have Skill

• Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, CI/CD areas will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with Python, data visualisation using Tableau/Power BI, data governances/quality tools like MDM.
