Data Engineer – USA
Job Description:
Own data ingestion (develop and sustain), data pipelining, and data management. They own the first step of the data analytics lifecycle.
They have deep knowledge of data platforms and tools, data architecture.
They work with platform admins, data modelers, solution architects, and delivery leads to deliver the quality data prepared for analytics.
Determines the data schema needed to support modeling needs
Data cleansing, data aggregation, ETL, and dataset management
Fluency in English is necessary
Hands-on skills with SQL
Programming (presto, python, etc.) and tools
Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures
Data acquisition, Develop data set processes
Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
