Job Responsibilities:
Creating Test Scenarios Test Case Design Test Execution Logging and Retesting of defects and Failed test cases re-execution regression testing and UAT support along with Post Go Live support
Creation and co-ordination for requited Test data with different stakeholders
Ensuring knowledge transition to the team
Requirements
Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems and other relevant fields.
Candidates with relevant work experience of up to 12 months will also be considered.
Candidates are expected to work on multiple tasks assigned and able to discern the priorities and needs.
Experience with planning and leading teams in delivering the projects during their student projects will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding and organizational skill to work on the data to produce relevant information to disseminate to stakeholders.
Basic Java programming, testing and SDLC will be required.
Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams.
Keen interest to pursue a long term career in the challenging Information Technology arena.

Cognizant Apprenticeship – IT Support Technician
As an IT Support Technician Apprentice, you will review, troubleshoot, and participate in the process to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions and log and triage incidents for some of the world’s leading companies. You will be responsible for incident life cycle following ITIL/BIC framework and develop induction documents in consultation with relevant stakeholders for the project.
We provide mentoring where you will connect with peers and build your network. Throughout your first year at Cognizant, we will closely monitor your progress and offer coaching, training, and support to help you achieve your long-term career goals at Cognizant.

Cognizant Apprenticeship Program is officially registered and recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL). Every graduate of our Registered Apprenticeship program receives a nationally recognized credential from the DOL.
The IT Support Technician apprenticeship program is a one-year paid learning experience; where you will be required to successfully complete specific learning hours and on-the-job training that has been outlined to ensure you are successful in your new role plus pass technical assessments along the way.
Once you graduate and receive your certificate from our apprenticeship program, you will be eligible for continued employment with Cognizant and reclassification from non-exempt to exempt based on education, work experience, technical assessment, performance evaluation, and client engagement.
