Job Description:
- As a Management Consultant in our division, you will drive organizational transformation, strategic planning, and process optimization.
- You will work closely with our clients and cross-functional teams to understand complex business problems, conduct data analysis, formulate strategies, and execute impactful transformations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to analyze and dissect complex business problems related to decarbonization, Electric Vehicle, battery energy storage, renewables, microgrids, and others.
- Lead strategic initiatives emphasizing operational excellence, financial optimization, and sustainable growth.
- Design, test, and implement business solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and KPIs.
- Provide thought leadership and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Conduct research and analysis on power and fuel markets, using internal modeling tools to inform client deliverables.
Qualification:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Technology, Applied Science, or a related discipline (Recent College Graduate).
- If you have experience in a consultancy role would be advantageous (Internship is valid).
- Business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Aptitude for learning new analytic software swiftly and effectively.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within diverse teams in a dynamic setting.
- Outstanding consulting skills, including effective communication, analytical prowess, and presentation skills.
- Consistent track record of delivering high-quality project deliverables on time.
- Driven and motivated to ensure client success.
Preferred:
- Financial modeling relating to project financing and energy asset valuations.
- Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Access, Aurora, Plexos.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SQL, Visual Basic.
- Statistical and mathematical modeling.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within the US for client engagements (up to 10%).
- This position is remote.
