Job Description: Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Deloitte Tax LLP U.S., has been providing comprehensive support to various service lines within Deloitte Tax since its inception in 2004. As part of our commitment to building exceptional teams focused on innovation and value creation for our clients, we are currently seeking talented individuals with experience in Third Party Assurance to join our growing Risk Advisory team in Bangalore.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with teams in India, the US, and vendors to produce software design and architecture.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
- Test, deploy, and debug applications and systems.
- Revise, update, and refactor code as needed.
- Develop, support, and maintain applications and technology solutions.
- Ensure that all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations, adhering to defined standards and project management methodologies.
- Foster collaborative efforts and camaraderie among team members.
- Demonstrate a strong working understanding of industry best standards in software development and version controlling.
- Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
- Work on agile projects, participate in daily SCRUM calls, and provide task updates.
Qualifications:
- Full-time Master’s/Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent from a reputed university.
- 6-9 years of relevant technical experience with application development and .NET programming.
- Excellent SQL programming skills with a strong understanding of both back-end and front-end application development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS/LESS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Ajax.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience working with and scaling relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling, database design, querying, and performance tuning.
- Experience in writing T-SQL queries and troubleshooting common database issues.
- Strong experience in web application development and maintenance using .NET Framework 4.0 or higher.
- Experience with Web Services, RESTful API/Web API’s, microservices, and Windows services.
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SignalR(WebSockets), Grunt, Knockout, Durandal, AMCharts, SSRS, MongoDB.
- Familiarity with OAUTH and/or other authentication protocols.
- Experience with source control systems like GIT and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
- Working knowledge of enterprise application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience working in a Financial Services environment.
