Role Overview: Qualcomm Technologies is seeking motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Associate Engineers in Software Engineering. As an Associate Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and device driver programming. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and debugging of software modules for advanced wireless technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software modules with a focus on C programming and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
- Debug complex system-level issues using debugging tools like Lauterbach and Trace tools.
- Analyze and triage software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in C programming.
- Experience or knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems concepts.
- Familiarity with device driver programming is preferred.
- Ability to independently work on deliverables and design software modules.
- Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
- Good communication skills and enthusiasm to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) or related field.
- Experience with battery charging and battery management systems is an added advantage.
