Job Description: Cognizant is conducting a Walk-In Interview on 24th Feb 2024 to recruit talented Fund Accountants/Controllers for various roles including Private Equity, Private Credit, and Fund of Hedge Funds with 3-12 years of experience. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals as well as qualified Chartered Accountants with no work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Fund Accounting and Control functions for Private Equity, Private Credit, and Fund of Hedge Funds.
- Perform Bank Debts/Loan Operations, Real Estate Accounting/Reporting, Waterfall, PCAPs/Capital Calls/Distributions, Accruals, Nav Preparation and Reporting, Workpaper packages, Mgmt. Fees, etc.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Work in a Hybrid Work Model with UK/US shift timings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com) or Chartered Accountancy (CA).
- Relevant certifications or qualifications related to Fund Accounting preferred.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Fund Accounting and Control functions, preferably in Private Equity, Private Credit, or Fund of Hedge Funds.
- Strong understanding of Bank Debts/Loan Operations, Real Estate Accounting/Reporting, Waterfall, PCAPs/Capital Calls/Distributions, Accruals, Nav Preparation and Reporting, Workpaper packages, Mgmt. Fees, etc.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
