Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at IBM India Systems Development Lab (IBM ISDL), you will have the opportunity to work on all phases of product development, including design, development, testing, and support. Your responsibilities will include:

- Engaging in the entire product development life cycle, from coding to validation and support.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proficiency in Systems Software Programming Skills (C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, Groovy).
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems Concepts (Unix/Linux internals), data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud computing technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, microservices architecture, and Kubernetes/Docker.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration in a global team environment.
- A Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or relevant fields.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with OpenStack, security, application development on cloud platforms, and DevOps.
- Experience with web UI frameworks like Vaadin, React JS, and styling libraries such as Bootstrap/Material.
- Knowledge of J2EE, JSP, RESTful web services, and GraphQL API.
- Practical experience with Java, JavaScript, Ansible, databases, SQL, Node.js, etc.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts, data science, and NLP, along with modern tools to derive insights.
- Familiarity with server performance management, capacity planning, and performance diagnostics.
- Proven interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
