Role Overview
As a Software Developer – QA Automation, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated testing solutions for enterprise-level applications. This role is part of IBM’s Software division, working at the core of development and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated tests using Java and Selenium WebDriver
- Create detailed test cases and plans based on requirements
- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects
- Ensure product quality through systematic testing, including API testing
- Contribute to test-driven development practices and continuous testing strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing and automation
- Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium
- Strong understanding of QA processes, test planning, and execution
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, or Spring
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
