Role Overview
As an Apprentice – Python Developer, you will assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts and support routine system and operational tasks. The role focuses on learning Python-based automation, debugging, and working with structured processes under guidance from experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python
- Support basic automation workflows such as scheduling, file handling, and monitoring
- Help analyze logs and troubleshoot automation issues
- Collaborate with team members on enhancements and documentation
- Follow standard coding, security, and documentation practices
- Support basic production or operational tasks as required
Skills & Eligibility Criteria
- Basic knowledge of Python programming (data structures, functions, OOP, file handling)
- Understanding of scripting and automation concepts
- Familiarity with SQL fundamentals and simple queries
- Basic exposure to REST APIs and JSON
- Understanding of debugging techniques and log analysis
- Willingness to learn and work in a blended development and operations role
- Exposure to Git, Ansible, or cloud platforms (Azure preferred) is an added advantage
