Job Description
As a System Software Engineering Intern, you will support the design and development of software solutions across chip resource management, graphics, video, 2D and 3D graphics (OpenGL, DirectX), ISP, and driver stacks for Windows and Linux. The role focuses on system-level programming at the intersection of graphics, multimedia, and operating systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand CPU, memory architecture, buses, and interconnects
- Work on OS fundamentals such as scheduling, memory management, and device drivers
- Apply algorithms and data structures to system software problems
- Contribute to parallel computing solutions
- Develop using C/C++ and support scripting with Python or Perl
Required Skills
- Strong academic background
- Pursuing BTech / MTech / MS in Computer Science or E&C
- Solid understanding of Operating System fundamentals
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Knowledge of processor architecture
- Linux kernel knowledge is a plus
- Scripting (Python or Perl) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in system-level or kernel programming
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming in C/C++ or Java
- Exposure to computer architecture, digital systems, and assembly language
- Strong problem-solving and design skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
