Who we’re looking for
To be considered for this programme, you must be motivated and curious with a degree or expected degree in any area. Language requirements: fluent in English and Spanish.
Ideally, you would also have and a keen interest in business and finance and a curiosity to learn. We value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, all of which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.
As an Analyst, you’ll develop specialist expertise as a banker, there are several teams that specialise in different areas – including equity and debt origination, loans, structuring, risk management and syndication. You’ll get a unique insight into our work from colleagues across Barclays, and take on your own projects with our full support. You’ll start with intensive training focused on developing skills in a particular area. You’ll also:
• Work on live deals and deal proposals
• Prepare new business presentations
• Learn the art of executing transactions
1-2 year targeted, fast-track programme focused on developing specialist technical expertise.
