Role Overview: As a Software Engineer Trainee in our IT Service Desk team, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their IT-related issues and inquiries. Your role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software problems, collaborating with other IT teams to escalate complex issues, and maintaining knowledge base articles for efficient problem-solving.
Location: Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (BE/BTech)
- Freshers from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 batches
- Candidates with a minimum of 50% in X, XII or Diploma, UG
- Open to Indian nationals only
- Flexible to work in any location, shift timing, and technology
Skills Required:
- Proficient knowledge of PC software and hardware troubleshooting
- Good programming languages knowledge
- Sound customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good documentation and time management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to appreciate diversity and inclusion in professional interactions
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support and assistance to end-users
- Log and track all support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of problems
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, performing diagnosis and resolving technical issues
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure prompt resolution
- Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation to enhance self-service options
