About the Team: Compliance Engineering
As part of the Compliance Engineering team, you will join a global group of over 300 engineers and data scientists working on critical systems that help prevent, detect, and mitigate regulatory and reputational risk. The team leverages big data platforms, modern frameworks, and cloud-native technologies to build responsive applications and high-performance data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate globally with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Build and maintain software systems that process large-scale datasets.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy mission-critical software components.
- Work on complex data pipelines, surveillance models, and real-time analytics.
- Leverage technologies like Java, Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, JSON, and Presto.
Skills and Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Java and experience with databases.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and automated testing.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with large-scale systems (e.g., MapReduce on Hadoop/HBase).
- Experience with data analysis tools like SQL, Spark SQL, Jupyter/Zeppelin.
- Familiarity with API design and interconnected microservices.
- Knowledge of compliance, trading systems, or risk management is a plus.
