Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Vendor Risk Management Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and compliant management of multiple third-party relationships with low risks. They will leverage extensive knowledge of industry laws and regulations, along with approved third-party risk management and procurement policies, to identify, measure, document, mitigate, and manage existing and emerging risks. This role requires continuous engagement and collaboration with other third-party roles as defined by the policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuous engagement and collaboration with other third-party roles as defined by policy (i.e., Category Managers).
- Effective and compliant management of multiple third-party relationships with low risks.
- Leveraging extensive knowledge of industry laws and regulations, along with approved third-party risk management and procurement policies.
- Identifying, measuring, documenting, mitigating, and managing existing and emerging risks.
- Diligently monitoring third-party relationship compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Executing the Inherent Risk Questionnaire (IRQ) process to assess risk profiles of third parties.
- Monitoring third-party’s ability to deliver against contractual requirements and service level agreements.
- Reconciling and ensuring payment of third-party relationship invoices, purchase orders, and spend management.
- Conducting due diligence and data gathering.
- Preparing executive summaries and working with suppliers to ensure completion/satisfaction of D&O completion with stakeholders as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree/Graduates.
- 2-5 years of experience in vendor risk management or related field.
- Mid-level proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and customers.
- Good negotiation skills to negotiate with suppliers.
- Ability to perform market research and analysis.
- Ability to perform cross-functional analysis and research related to sourcing, supplier competition, risk mitigation, etc.
- Good understanding/background of the financial services industry is a plus.
