Position: Software IFS, Emulation Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Freshers or 0-2+ years of experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
- Familiarity with Java, Python, and object-oriented programming
- Good understanding of SOC architectures and hardware modeling
- Familiarity with System Verilog or Verilog hardware description language
- Knowledge of SOC modeling in emulation, CPU, PCIe, DDR memory subsystem
- Understanding of software development and test processes
- Familiarity with computer architecture, software engineering, and operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving, triage, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Description: As a Software IFS, Emulation Engineer, you will be part of the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) group responsible for the system foundry that brings Intel’s cutting-edge technologies to IFS customers. Your role involves developing validation infrastructure for testing SOC Firmware in an emulation environment. This includes collaborating with hardware engineers, porting different SOC designs to emulation, enabling Bus Functional Models, and developing the necessary infrastructure for connecting emulators to Virtual Platforms. You will also be responsible for enabling FW validation in emulation and developing emulation test automation infrastructure for test execution.
