Job Description: Siemens is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design of Control, Protection, and Substation Automation Systems utilized across various voltage levels in India and abroad. This role involves working on projects for Central/State/Private Utilities, Industries, and Infrastructure power systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design engineering of Control, Protection & Automation systems/panels.
- Prepare Basic/Detailed design documentation, including control and protection layout, bill of material, schematic preparations, and configuration architecture.
- Navigate the project design lifecycle, understanding client requirements, gaining design approvals, ordering necessary materials, and providing support to Project Management/Factory/Commissioning teams for successful project execution.
- Engage in discussions with customers for drawing approval and resolution of queries.
- Initiate loadings to the factory for material procurement, fabrication, and wiring of the systems under scope.
- Provide support to Sales, Factory, and Commissioning teams as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BTech/MTech in a relevant field.
- Good knowledge of basic computer applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Critical thinking, quality consciousness, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Agile learner with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
